(일명 레드 드래곤 부대라고 불리우는 이 부대의 여단본부는 경기도 평택시 캠프 험프리스에 있지만 일부 대대인원이 한국 국군정보사령부에 파견나와 있다) 플러스 다음과 같은 기존정보 넷째, 동남아시아산 마약이 조직적으로 미국으로 운송되는 과정에 대통령 가족이 깊이 관련되어 있는 것으로 파악되고 있다. 다섯째, 넷째 항목과 관련해서는 한국경찰이 독자적으로 수사해서 사건의 전모가 밝혀질 뻔 했으나 대통령의 측근들이 나서서 불법적으로 수사를 중단시켰다. 여섯째, 마약수사 불법중단사태에 동원된 대통령 측근 중에는 당시 세관을 관할하고 있는 지역의 지검장이었던 현직 검찰총장도 포함되어 있다. 바이든 전 행정부가 한국을 SCL 에 등재하고 3 개월 간 발효를 보류한데는 행정절차의 과정이기도 하지만, 한국이 그 보류기간 동안 합법적 절차를 통한 제도적 민주주의의 복원력을 발휘할 것으로 판단했기 때문일 것이다. 윤석열 김건희 일당을 권좌에서 축출하고 그들의 하수조직을 일망타진하면 동맹국 한국의 이 어처구니없는 퇴행이 종지부를 찍을 것으로 내다보았던 게 분명하다. 나도 그렇게 생각했었다. (얼마 전 까지는) 그런데 지금 한국상황은 대부분의 상식인들이 예상했던 합리적 추론과는 다르게 전개되고 있다. 명백한 증거가 차고 넘치는 내란외환범죄의 전모가 드러났는데도 불구하고 그 나라 국민의 38 퍼센트라는 적지 않은 숫자가 주범 윤석열의 대통령직 파면조차 반대하고 있다. 트럼프 행정부의 입장에서는 캐시카우 한국의 이 불리한 족쇄를 풀어줄 아무런 이유가 없다. 그가 정작 한국에 대해서 취임 두 달이 다가오도록 별말없이 쥐죽은듯이 조용한데는 다 이유가 있다. 도대체 다음 달부터 한국에서는 무슨 일이 벌어질까.. Mandatory visa issuance for short-term South Korean visitors could also be reinstated (currently, South Korean nationals can board flights to the U.S. with only a prior electronic travel authorization). In short, this is a critical issue that could cause South Korea to plummet into the ranks of underdeveloped countries overnight. The South Korean government wasn’t even aware that the country had been added to the SCL list. Some conservative South Korean media are foolishly claiming that former President Biden "stabbed South Korea in the back." If the level of intelligence is this poor, those media outlets might as well be considered idiots. It was not South Korea that was enraged after being stabbed in the back?it was the United States. The Biden administration added South Korea to the SCL list immediately after U.S. intelligence agencies confirmed the shocking details of the events involving South Korea's emergency martial law situation and the actoins of the special forces mobilized for the attempted coup. Here are the key details directly related to the United States: The President attempted to use mercenaries with special forces backgrounds to abduct or assassinate civilians. (At the time, U.S. intelligence agencies urgently informed the targeted indiuiduals through agents stationed in Seoul from the Five Eyes intelligence alliance.) Some of those mercenaries planned a staged terror attack on the THAAD base in Seongju, North Gyeongsang Province, and the facilities of the 17th Fighter Wing in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, where advanced strategic bombers are stationed. Some of those mercenaries also planned a staged terror attack on U.S. Army personnel and facilities belonging to the 501st Military Intelligence Brigade in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province. (This brigade, known as the "Red Dragon" unit, is headquartered at Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, but some battalion personnel are dispatched to the South Korean Army Intelligence Command.) It has been determined that the President’s family is deeply involved in the organized transportation of Southeast Asian drugs into the United States. Regarding the drug trafficking, South Korean police were on the verge of uncovering the full scope of the case through an independent investigation, but the President’s aides illegally intervened to halt the investigation. Among the President's aides involved in the illegal suppresion of the drug investigation was the current Prosecutor General, who at the time was the Chief Prosecutor of the regional office overseeing customs. The Biden administration’s decision to list South Korea on the SCL and delay the enforcement for three months was partly due to administrative procedures, but it was also likely because they expected South Korea to demonstrate the resilience of its democratic institutions during this grace period.
